  Wow, I stumbled onto this old thread, and it is a great read! I never saw the video, "Knocking", but even though it is older, would love to see it sometime. I love the way Alan F wrote so intelligently about so many of the harmful JW beliefs and their weird and extreme turn-arounds!

  mrs. johnson, our team has been working on your case for a number of weeks.

  the money disappearing from your bank account, the constant confusion about 'watchtower teachings', such as the shifting understanding of the 1914 generation, the jw.org logo that seems seems to appear in the strangest places, the singing cart song that you can't get out of your head.

  today i watched the public witnessing cart song and a part of the february broadcasting.. it is unbelieveble how unreal the official jw message is and what do they have plastic faces on the channel.. only the good looking are shown (off course!

  ) and what a hypocrisy on their faces.. bahhhhh!.

  Jehovah's celestial chariot now has 2 little wheels and racks! for all those little books and tracts - but no bibles, as usual!

  Isn't it wonderful how Jehovah's visible organization knows so much about Jehovah's thoughts that they can print all these books* & offer all these unique ways to witness to people? Aren't his happy people so proud to be a public witness cart-puller..! Yes, what a feeeeling, to go wheeeeeling....!!! It is so clearly obvious that Jehovah is blessing his people and giving them the best education ever! His lofty and holy countenance must surely shine upon these blessed faith-inspiring works of devotion....

  Ugh. Making myself nauseous.... lol.

  * books - Ecc.11:12 - "As for anything besides these, my son, be warned: To the making of many books there is no end, and much devotion to them is wearisome to the flesh." - bwhahaha!

  thou shalt not stay at a hotel that is not on the rooming list.

  work prevented me from attending our assigned district (regional) convention so i arranged my schedule to attend in a different city/weekend.

  i know that's not a problem, brothers and sisters do it all the time.

  Too true, SailAway! I remember all that and those stupid hotel lists & instructions for calling and booking... I also followed the org's instructions "just so" and would feel terribly guilty if I missed a step or didn't follow things correctly.  Such a collosal waste of time, resources and energy!!

  by the way lloyd very well done and totally funny.

  but on a more serious note (and i think what must be of concern to the gb) are the amount of leaks that must be occurring at a senior level or at least by a person who has access to sensitive information.

  As a lowly female (bwhahaha!), it has been eye-opening to get a look into the inner sanctuary, to enter into the most holy of the holies, to see behind the curtain.... to hear these secret elder's meetings, to see their secret elder's letters... to behold the inner workings of this giant (religious) corporation... and to see the bullsh*t and lies and falseness and mind-numbing boringness of many of their "qualified" speakers! 

  
  

  I was amazed to hear how many times they repeated  "You FAITHFUL, LOYAL BROTHERS" at the LDC talk (the talk where they revealed the new, commercial Kingdom Hall design) and how much more openly they talk about needing money and funds when their words are directed to a roomful of special "spiritually appointed men" ....

  OMG, omg..... Haven't read all comments or seen whole video, felt like was going to have anxiety attack listening to it, bastards.... 

  But omg.... the flawed logic, the tedious, tiresome explanations, their damned expounding on everything to the nth degree, their incessant nagging till you want to scream, GET TO THE POINT!!!!

  ....am only 40 min in and trying not to scream to get to the point. 

  
  

  But! Around 40 minutes in, the speaker highlight the words DESIRE & POWER as he reads a scripture, then expound upon it some more... You can tell the speaker is very excited about this. As a female, I find this "brother" to be very used-car salesman-ish. He almost shouts out the word DESIRE (when reading the scripture) to get the roomful of men excited.  He then expounds about POWER, but saying that it is power from Jehovah. It is like hearing these words all decoded now.  

  
  

  It's like when I go into my husband's sacred temple... I mean, his garage, and I see things which are on his shelf... Lubricating oils, triple penetrating lube with powerful 3-way action.... I never before realized how interesting are many of the labels on these power tool things & their lubricants. 

  
  

  This is is an amazing video for a lowly sister like me to peek into... You see the subtle and not subtle boy's-only club vibe.... and omg. I will see if I can continue to watch this while being amazed and disgusted and repulsed and nauseated all at the same time.

  if you have not already watched the feb 2015 broadcast, go to approx.

  it has an elderly sister talking about being old in this world...a long time pioneer who probably thought the end would have come years ago...as the society told her many times.. now she is told to be on a mission to get young ones to also pioneer, and watch for the not so subtle condemntion of higher education!.

  sickening stuff........ they missed the obvious elephant in the room.... a life wasted on nothing...now she has no money, and lived waiting for a fairy tale!

  And did you notice, this is the second time these WT videos have used the parable of the poor widow contributing to the temple from her want.  

  
  

  The first slimy time they used this parable was only last month -- to encourage a poor single-parent family who had only a bit of rice to eat, yet mom and the kids were still encouraged to do and give all they could to "Jehovah".  

  
  

  And they are using this same parable yet again, to encourage an old, tired, faithful sister to keep doing more and giving more.  They are leeches, parasites, soul-sucking vampires!  And they try to make everybody behave that way toward everybody else too.

  You know, maybe they should having singing service bags, too.  Why should they be left out? They hold all the literature too and go everywhere.  

  
  

  They may may not have wheels, but they have *handles*!! Just think of it! How could this be overlooked?? Why, some of them even have zippered compartments and places to hold pens and magazines.... There are so many fascinating and interesting things about a service bag when you really think about it.  They open, they close... They are so perfectly metaphorical for all the doors that are opened and closed upon JWs. 

  
  

  Why oh why are these hard-working, loyal service bags being unheard and unsung?
